Removing The Door Panel On My 2005 Ford F150

Remove the door watershield.

Note do not remove the window glass from the door. Un clip any wiring harnesses from the switch panel. Remove the two bolts on the bottom of the door panel figure 3. Pry up the small rectangular cover panel in the bottom of the door pull to access the bolt.

Remove the bolt using the 8 mm socket. Remove the door speaker. Grabbing the entire door panel slide it up and then pull it off but still support it. How do i remove the door panel of a 2005 ford f 150 in order to replace the exterior driver side mirror answered by a verified ford mechanic.

Remove the door trim panel. Do not pull directly outward on the front door trim panel as damage may occur. Remove the front door trim panel. Pull out the plastic cover behind the door handle using the hooked pronged tool by pulling the handle out and inserting the hooked tool behind it.

Remove the door handle by unclipping it from the door panel on the rear side of the panel then slide it through the panel. Guide the door handle through the opening in the trim panel. Disconnect the window motor electrical connector power windows only. Remove the window glass from the window regulator.
