Locate the screws on the closet sliding door track.
Remove sliding closet door from track.
Simply grip each door at the sides and lift up toward the top track.

Remove the outside closet door by first sliding the door to the center of the track.
You may require more room to maneuver so go.
Repeat with the second door.
Then angle the door towards you and pull gently detaching the door from its top track.
The floor guide keeps the doors level across the door opening.
To remove the doors you must start with the front door which will be on the first track closest to you and continue on to the second to disengage the bracket wheels from the track.
This will make the wheels on the bottom of the door release from the track.
This will be the easiest part of the job.
Step 5 remove the door tracks.
Remove the screws that hold the upper and lower door tracks in place using a screwdriver.
Both the top and bottom tracks are secure to the floor with screws.
Step 2 remove the closet doors.
If a track is stuck in place due to accumulated paint or caulking use a screwdriver to pry the track out.
Both panels disconnect in the same manner.
Lift the front door up so that it s elevated a little off of the ground.
Hold the sides of the front door with each.
Getting the closet doors off the slider rails requires removing the floor guide at the bottom.
Once this is complete repeat the process with the inside closet door.

Step 3 remove the tracks.
At the bottom of the opening is a floor guide with two channels.
Tilt the bottom of the door toward you and pull down and out.
Move to the other side of the doors so that you re facing your closet.
