Our track was chalked full of gunk and the wire brush cut right through it.
Remove screen sliding door.
Remove the door from the track first things first.
Some screen doors are taller though so you may need to get the material cut off the 100 foot roll.

That s the length you get in most pre cut rolls from the hardware store.
These screws control the tension on the wheels that allow the door to roll in its track.
Using a phillips screwdriver turn the screw counter clockwise to raise the screen up until you see the head of the screw.
You can use the same wire brush in step 2 to remove debris and dirt buildup from the sliding screen door s track.
Then use your screwdriver to unscrew the head stop located at the top of the door frame.
To remove this type start by loosening the tension on the wheels a bit.
This will raise the wheels in the base of the door frame making the door sink into the track.
Your door should have two adjustment screws near each bottom corner of the frame.
In order to remove the door screen it must come off of the rollers.
Repeat on the other side.
Use a plastic putty knife to pry the strips off if necessary.
You ll see inner screws at the bottom of either side of the screen.
